Roberta MacDonald, MCC I have over 40+ years in the travel industry - beginning my career as a Reservation & Ticket Counter Agent in New York City for United Airlines and Baltimore, Md!
We sometimes got fresh pineapples from clients when they came back from Honolulu. In fact, United had a 5PM flight then from LaGuardia to Chicago, that was "Men Only, Steak,m & Cigars"! Baltimore had a circular rack with a card for each passenger on the incoming flight - no automation! I worked there as the jet age came into being. I was with Brownell Tours (one of the first wholesalers in business) in Birmingham, Ala along with Eastern AirLines there also.
Moving to the Midwest, in Minneapolis I worked for Business Incentives, General Mills in their international travel department, and in Minneapolis travel agencies. I have traveled all over the world and have vast experience in both tours and cruises.
In fact, "Have Passport, Will Travel", makes me ready to leave in about 1 days time!! In the last few years I have been fortunate to visit: South Africa, Australis & New Zealand, China, Hawaii, Egypt, Europe and have sampled many of the cruise lines. I specialize in matching what I know of the operators and destinations to your personality. I ask questions about what you liked best and what you did not like in vacations.
